The Story Behind MCM Mouldings

Owners:  Mark, Max, Clark Gorrell

In 1981 Max Gorrell and his two sons, who had made a successful career as house contractors, stepped out in faith to begin a new business manufacturing hardwood interior mouldings. They called their new endeavor MCM Mouldings, MCM standing for their names, Mark, Clark and Max. They used the Hebrew letter for M to create their logo, the phrase “Every Home Deserves Real Wood” was chosen for their company motto, and they went to work. They began with a few pieces of equipment in a small building, one employee and the rest of the family to fill in the work force. Their focus was to fully satisfy one customer at a time with superior quality products.

Today, over two decades later, their goal to satisfy one customer at a time still remains, and the years of experience, integrity, and consistency in high quality productivity has resulted in a dramatic growth in the business with over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space that is equipped with the latest technology in producing the finest quality mouldings available.
